This Privacy Policy explains how Vibes Ventures, Inc. ("Amber," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use discoveramber.app.

Information you provide:

• Account information: email address, username, display name, profile photo
• Content: photos, story text, titles, captions, locations you add
• Contacts: names and email addresses you add as newsletter recipients
• Communications: messages you send us at hello@discoveramber.app

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken in the app
• Device and technical data: browser type, operating system, device type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP
• Session recordings and interaction data collected through our analytics provider

Information from photos:

• Photo metadata, including date, time, and location information embedded in files you upload

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Send newsletters you create to recipients you select
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service
• Understand how people use Amber so we can improve it
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
• Measure the effectiveness of our advertising

We share information with third parties that help us operate Amber:

• Supabase — database and photo storage
• Lovable — application hosting and email delivery infrastructure
• PostHog — product analytics and session recording
• Meta and Google — advertising and conversion measurement

These providers process information on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy practices.

Content you share: albums you publish can be viewed by anyone with the share link, without an account. Albums you email are delivered to the recipients you select. You control what you share and with whom.

Friends: users you are mutually connected with can see content you share with them.

Legal: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfers: if Amber is acquired or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

You can:

• Access, update, or delete your account information at any time in the app
• Delete albums, photos, and stored contacts
• Delete your account entirely, which removes your content from our active systems
• Unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in any email you receive

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to request a copy of your data, request correction or deletion, and object to certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@discoveramber.app. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your content from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or security purposes.

Content already delivered by email or accessed through share links may persist outside our control.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Amber is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact hello@discoveramber.app and we will delete it.

Amber is operated in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service and update the date at the top.
